Zainab is a co-founder of ReImagine Change, where she works alongside grassroots movements, organisers, and funders to rethink how resources flow and how power is held in the climate and social justice space. Her work sits at the intersection of climate justice, community empowerment, and applied research, with a strong focus on strengthening African-led movements across sub-Saharan Africa. Zainab has a PhD in International Development and an MSc in Sustainable Development. She cares deeply about turning ideas into action—helping translate research into strategies and systems that support real-world impact. Alongside this work, she also serves on the Advisory Board of the Water Justice Fund. She believes lasting climate solutions must be led by those most affected.
