Rudo is an African feminist, activist-scholar and artist fiercely committed to social justice and community self-determination. She has worked at local and international levels combining feminism, decoloniality and the creative arts to advance dialogue, expression and radical transformation.

Rudo has deep experience in movement support in Africa across various themes, including land, climate justice, and sexualities. Her approach draws linkages between archival histories of resistance with contemporary modes in illustrating the continuity of resistance by Global South peoples across time, along with their creativity and innovation.

She is popularly known as a V warrior for her engagement in the struggles surrounding bodily autonomy and sexual diversity. Her work as a researcher, popular educator, facilitator and strategist has focused on learning from and supporting feminist funds and movements through strategic and organisational development processes over the past decade.
