Patience Apassnaba

Patience Apassnaba ‘s interest in environmental issues sparked while attending forestry school in Ghana. After graduation, she worked with the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission in Ghana for 23 years, assisting in the conservation of natural resources and improving community livelihoods for both current and future generations.
Patience is the current Park Manager of the Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary Ramsar Site; she has previously managed two other wildlife parks and a zoo in various capacities including tourism, community, and law enforcement.
Patience Apassnaba holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and a Master of Arts in Environmental Management and Policy from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.
