Oluwadamilola (Dami) Pikuda is dedicated to environmental sustainability and explores various research tools to support decision makers in making evidence-based decisions to achieve
a more sustainable environment. She has over ten years of experience combined in environmental impact assessment, program evaluation and project management. She has worked with various organizations in Africa, Middle East and North America. One of her most fulfilling projects is the Mentoring for Research Program during her role as the founding program manager for International Support Network for African Development (ISNAD-Africa). Dami is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemical Engineering, McGill University, Canada where her research is focused on investigating the environmental impacts of plastic pollution. She has authored and co-authored several research papers and received numerous prestigious awards and scholarships. She is a member of the Association of Environmental Impact Assessment in Nigeria.
