2021 Fellow

I’ve worked for the past 17 years in conservation, climate and development across Southern and East Africa. My focus has been largely on supporting rural communities to manage their natural resources sustainably, the context of environmental, political and social change. I try to bridge the gap between “south” and “north” perspectives, priorities and needs, and to elevate the voices of local rights holders and resource owners into national and international fora and discussions. My passion is to promote environmental and social justice and equity, and to find ways for both people and nature to thrive.
