Lucy W. Waruingi

Lucy is the Executive Director of the African Conservation Centre (ACC) and holds a BSc in Computer Science and statistics from University of Nairobi and MSc in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). Lucy has had a long interest in the management and interpretation of biological and environmental data for decision-making and informing initiatives that enhance local livelihoods in rich biodiversity areas. She is a founder member of the Society for Conservation GIS, Kenya Chapter is the current chair and founder member of the Conservation Alliance of Kenya.
