Harisoa is a passionate Environmental Scientist, with an impressive fifteen-year career in climate change adaptation. Currently serving as the Coordinator of the WWF Africa Adaptation Hub in Madagascar, she plays a pivotal role in integrating adaptation strategies into the core of WWF’s initiatives.
Her commitment to advancing the adaptation agenda is evident through her active involvement at national, regional, and international levels. She has been a driving force behind the mainstreaming of adaptation practices within WWF, strategically advocating for robust investments in adaptation during various international climate events led by WWF.
She has taken the lead on several projects, including directing the Africa Protected Area Congress’s climate change section last year and heading the Madagascar climate change thematic group.
