Faith Milkah Wakonyo Muniale

Faith Milkah Wakonyo Muniale is a Kenyan, environmental scientist with research and development experience in environmental conservation, natural resources management and livelihoods. She has experience in different countries in Africa with participation in a variety of local and international programmes. Faith believes in sustainable development where natural resources base are conserved while improving livelihoods particularly in rural areas. She also strongly believes in homegrown solutions to local challenges in the conservation and management of natural resources and improvement of livelihoods. She has authored several research papers, book chapter as well as reports. She received prestigious fellowships from WWF Russell E. Train Education for Nature 2017, Organization for Women in Science from Sub Saharan Africa 2016, and African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) 2013 among others.
