Duwa Mutharika is a coach, speaker, facilitator, soon-to-be author, former diplomat and mentor who helps people answer the question ‘How am I showing up?’
Duwa is a highly skilled Business Coach with over 15 years of leadership experience within fast-paced business development environments across Africa.
She is a certified Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master and communications expert who is passionate about helping women become leaders in their organisations, communities and lives. The foundation of Duwa’s coaching work is Positive Psychology and Emotional Intelligence.
Her coaching repertoire includes guiding clients to positive relationships, mindfulness, and Whole Body Wellness. As a facilitator, Duwa creates bespoke soft skills workshops on topics like self-awareness, assertiveness, negotiation, interpersonal communication, and succession planning for her clients that help bridge the gap between hard skills and those needed for female professionals to transition into successful leadership.
Duwa has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mass Communications with a Business Administration minor from Biola University, La Mirada, CA, U.S.A and a Masters in Science (MSc) in Strategic Management from Derby University, Derbyshire, England, U.K. and in 2018 completed an Advanced Diploma in Coaching and Leadership from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2022, Duwa completed two Health Coaching certifications from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, N. Y., USA.
She currently works with G4G Africa in South Africa and Malawi, mentoring the next generation of female African leaders.
