Chiedza Mufunde

Chiedza Mufunde is a seasoned strategist who has worked across Africa and the United States. She has gained a wealth of experience in global education policy, advocacy and investment advisory, working with reputable organizations such as Save the Children, World Bank/GPE and SouthBridge Group.
A passionate pan-African, Chiedza’s belief in Africa’s potential is demonstrable through the work she has done in education with African Leadership University and personal passion projects such as the project on youth entrepreneurship in her hometown, Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.
She believes in the power of leadership for individuals and institutions and strongly believes in the power of institutions in shaping people’s lives. When not working, Chiedza enjoys cooking for friends, travelling and reading. She runs a book club and enjoys building and nurturing communities with those around her.
She graduated from Mount Holyoke College (BA in Psychology and Critical Social Thought) and Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Boston College – both schools in Massachusetts, USA.
